Experience

Much of my knowledge in the mental health field comes from front line support work with underserved marginalized communities. This role really emphasized how healthy relationships can help promote healing and trust for survivors of trauma. Ultimately, this experience strengthened my commitment to creating safe, supportive, spaces for vulnerable individuals. The foundation of my practice prioritizes inclusive trauma-informed, culturally competent, and anti-oppressive interventions.

Approach

I approach therapy with curiosity, humility, and rapport building. I use practices from a range of modalities including Cognitive Behavioural, Emotion Focused, and psychodynamic while incorporating person centred and feminist foundations. My specialities focus on anxiety, depression, trauma, peer relationships, life transitions and stressors. I aim to create an environment and relationship that honours the client’s resiliency, while starting the path to growth, healing and self-compassion.

If you’re interested in pursuing therapy and feel as though we’d be a good fit, please feel free to message and we can organize a free consultation call. I look forward to exploring what brings you to therapy, and how I can support your journey.
