You might be carrying more than anyone ever should.

Whether you’re navigating trauma, anxiety, low mood, or a difficult life transition, therapy can offer a safe place to reconnect—with your resilience, with your values, and with yourself. I work from a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive lens that honors your lived experience. Together, we’ll work to understand what’s beneath the pain and build the skills, insights, and support you need to move forward.

Experience

I am experienced in supporting diverse communities through mental health challenges—particularly those related to interpersonal trauma, mental illlness, addiction, life stress, and marginalization. My practice is rooted in working alongside individuals impacted by systemic violence, childhood abuse, domestic violence, incarceration, and grief. I also have experience providing psychoeducation and resilience training to first responders, facilitating group and stabilization programs.

I am a first-generation immigrant to Canada, and a queer person of color. I hope to utilize my lived experiences to support individuals from diverse backgrounds. Whether you are looking to feel understood, to unburden yourself or simply just sit together and process the injustices around us, I can create space for you.

Currently completing my Master of Education in Counselling Psychology at the University of Toronto (OISE), I have gained a wealth of knowledge from my peers, teachers, mentors and supervisors in the field. My earlier work in hospital emergency care and community case management taught me to lead with compassion, clarity, and flexibility, while considering the complexity of our intersectionalities.

Approach

My approach is integrative and relational.

I believe that healing happens in relationship—especially one that feels safe, respectful, and collaborative. I draw from psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behaviour therapy practices while tailoring our work to your needs, goals, and pace. Whether you’re processing the past, navigating the stressors of the present or looking towards the future, I will meet you where you are and walk with you from there.

If you’re ready to begin, or simply curious about whether we’re a good fit, I offer a free 15-minute consultation. I’m looking forward to connecting with you.
