Michelle is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who is completing her supervised practice with CaRib Counselling & Psychotherapy. (Currently accepting new clients)

My educational background includes Health Studies and Social Service Work, with additional training in grief and bereavement counseling. I have experience working with multicultural youth and adults addressing grief, anxiety, depression, and interpersonal issues.

My gift is supporting people through their darkest time. I love helping people rediscover themselves and see new possibilities for their lives. My work is founded in African Indigenous values which involve wholeness, community, and harmony. I am passionate about maintaining connection to culture and Spirit. I believe that whatever you are going through can affect you mentally, physically, and spiritually, and healing can take place on all of these levels. I know how challenging it can be to open yourself up for therapy, and I want to thank you for trusting me. When working with me, I take great care in creating a space that is warm, inviting, safe, and authentic. Developing a solid relationship with you is my priority. I am open to all the different ways of working with you so you can get what you need out of your therapy journey.
